I chose a detachable case as a hedge against the issue where a lot of folio cases will conceal the rear noisecancellation ambient microphone on the camera bump when the flap is folded over during calls which can cause voice quality issues including apple’s own 100 folio

To me what makes this particular case outstanding is that it’s truly a 2in1 solution that doesn’t make sacrifices to provide that functionality

A lot of the folio cases i considered whether detachable or not make sacrifices in terms of the design and quality of the internal case that secures the phone to the outer wallet

Others have internal cases made of hard plastic that may crack or not provide full coverage leaving the topbottom edges of the phone and the buttons exposed

Given all the fine details my one gripe would be the camera opening which could have tighter tolerances but i suspect that may have been a compromise to allow the molding to accommodate the dimensional differences between the xs and x camera bumps

I also question the benefits of wireless charging and have yet to venture forth in that regard but those who have may wish to note that as illustrated in the product photos the inner case will have to removed from the wallet to successfully charge in that manner
