The case actually charges via an apple lightning connector and not a micro usb cable as noted above in the description

Even whilst fitted the phone and case can be charged simultaneously using the one cable

Charging is pretty quick at around 2½ hours using a standard charger and over night both batteries charged ready for another days worth of social media video blogging and numerous calls etc

When the time comes for a charge or top up of the phones battery a 3 second press of the button on the rear of the case will start the charging process
