When its opened and the flap is back behind the phone the magnet prevents my phone screen from flipping

You can fold the case back so that the inside half of the phone is exposed and then the long side of the phone can rest on the other side with the slots for cards and one for cash

I would think that would be how you would want the phone for watching a video or a movie
