The ghost case was water proof for the first few weeks but the rubber tabs covering the lightening power and headphone ports where very flimsy and tore loose within the 30 days of use

So any water resistance has to come from the structural snugness of the back of the case in relation to the back of the phone

I am guessing that this mblai case would have saved me 800 had i been using it when i fell in the pool but its obviously not for diving
