Many years with no surgery extremely nervous the nurses were very caring and they do follow up with you and see how you are feeling and then periodically come check you up when you are waiting for your surgeons arrival

My afternoon nurse the only one i wasnt super jazzed about didnt take me seriously about my hand feeling swollen and it burning every time i pushed the pain med button kary was her name

That night it was getting really bad and fikre listened to me and got it out

My surgeon said the vein the iv was in must have burst or exploded or something

Which is an understatement so a giant thankyou to all who have cared for me

I suggest everyone should reflect on what happens in the er before being possibly unnecessarily critical
