I ordered this after having to get a new phone unexpectedly and not wanting to pay an outrageous amount for a case in the att store without doing some research

The raised lip around the front of the phone has protected the screen from cracking if i drop it facedown but i doubt it would do much if the phone fell on any sort of corner or nonflat surface

Its good if you need a cheap case asap but i wouldnt buy it for longterm or heavyduty protection

Unlike my old one this one does not accidentally bump the switch and put the phone on silent unintentionally
