Its got the lip on front so you can set your phone screen down and lip on the back around the camera so as not to damage camera when set on the back

I doubt it is as protective as more expensive brands but i dont really have issues with dropping my phone misplacing it is my problem and when i did that recently at a local bar it was still there the next day since no one has the same case it didnt accidentally go home with someone claiming theyd also lost a phone

The button on the side to lock the screen is hard to push with the case on but other then that i love it

The only issue im having so far is the section for the charger port is too small for my charger and i have to lift and assist the case to plug my phone in
