Pros & Cons

Pros

This tape is sturdy yet tears easily. The adhesive is plenty sticky and holds well.

Makes a nice stocking stuffer. Great bang for your buck compared to most hardware store prices. Works well and stays put.

The inside of each roll on the more expensive tape is stamped intertape polymer group - made in usa. These rolls are individually shrink wrapped and then 3 rolls are tightly shrink wrapped together in a bundle. Mil vs 5-mil.

Cons

It bubbles up and loosens over a short period of time. Being so lightweight, it curls back on itself when you try to cut it. It's so flimsy. I weep for people that know only this stuff as duct tape and haven't had the pleasure to use hefty-grade stuff...  Read More

Quality

The quality is very good and i am very happy that i got to use this duct tape

I usually only purchase 3m or gorilla brand duct tape and have always been very happy with the gorilla tape

The backing is probably a bit too plasticky as it tends to not hold together when youre unrolling quickly and you end up with t...  Read More

With the three rolls i put one in the trunk of my car might be handy one in our garage and one with the other tape we have

Price

Its my go to tape and works well and stays put and for the size the price is the best

Now i should note that the tape is thin and no where as thick as the gorilla brand but the cost is 3 rolls of this to 1 roll of...  Read More

Packaging/appearance

So far it has worked well for packaging use and for other light use around our home

It took me 10 minutes to unwrap the bundle of 3 rolls right out of the box

On one side and a very adhesive sticky substance on the the other side

Competitiveness

I love this duct tape for a couple of reasons1

Great bang for your buck compared to most hardware store prices

The backing is probably a bit too plasticky as it tends to not hold together when youre unrolling quickly and you end up with the dreaded 2 width strip left on there

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The first two working days i had forgotten to open the window well up and provide an air flow to exhaust the unit to the outside and that means that the window well quickly heated up and both the boards and the metal frame felt quite hot to the touch

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

But for two days the tape was exposed to elevated heat from the exhaust and did not loosen or peel as the last duct tape i used did under similar circumstance

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It held tight despite the heat which was around the clock and lasted a total of about 50 hours

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Thats pretty good resistance in my opinion

And last but not least to me i used it to seal a tear on the underside of my office chair that isnt visible but worried me that it might spread and ruin the chair and its holding as well

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I used this to stick plastic sheeting around a foam mattress and stick to the plastic just fine but not enough that i could pull it off to readjust it

Could of been a buck cheaper but i’m ok with where’s it at
