Although my prior case a procase leather stand folio case had an elastic loop for a stylus the elastic stretched over time and was not holding my apple pen securely

The ivapo case not only secures the pen much more securely but also doesnt interfere with the edges of the ipad pros screen

Its not designed to protect against drops

Construction is good except cover is a bit too thick so that ipad pops out of case easily otherwise would have given five stars

Only problem with this is weak magnetic snap and really hard to press power button
