The case is actually two separate pieces the hot pink is made from rigid plastic and the dotted black and white fits over top of the hot pink one

There were no instructions but after a few minutes i figured out how to separate the two sections to put the i pad into the case

I wanted one without the built in screen protector so i could put a glass screen protector on it separately
