There arent many options for cases for the gen 1 so i bought this based on other reviews that it would fit the 1st gen

I think the price is a little high for a thick foam and the handle is held together with a thin plastic rod so if you have an overly rambunctious child this may not hold up

Also when using the stand alone feature it stands up too straight for a small child who is just starting to use touch screens they push harder and it just falls backwards
