This case is not water proof but it is dust resistant

Note the written instruction are very poorly written even though it is not hard to disassemble and to assemble the case

You want to do everything correctly…the written instructions tell you to tear the cover off the case prior to disassembling the case

Even if you watch the instructional video it is not clear on how to detach this cover from the case… the way you remove the cover from the case prior to disassembling the case is you just pry up the plastic clasp that has the fabric hinge attached to it

After that the instruction are straight forward on how to proceed
