As this cable did not have this configuration i thought that it might work only with the ieq30 pro mount

Both worked perfectly straight out of the package and have never caused any problems
After everything is configured properly itll take about an hour to upgrade the firmware on the lx200

Still im grateful letotech has made it for us and recommend it if you have an ioptron eq mount that needs it
I bought two cables one for my ioptron zeq25gt mount and one for my meade lx200 classic mount
If you need one for your ioptron mount this would be the one to get
5c to current with starpatch software after installing the current driver for the cables chipset at the ftdi website

I did have to go over the rj11 end to reinforce the wireconnector joint as this is a weak point which can lead to wire separation

No adapter to lose or fall offthe other unit i had was working just fine but was way too long and had that 232gtusb adapter also to mess with

You usually have to buy the official rs232 cables from meade or ioptron and separately buy a usbrs232 db9 adapter all in all costing more than twice as much as these singular straight cables and it looks messy

In order to use this cable to upgrade the firmware on the lx200 gps scope the scope must be in the software download mode
