There is no lag with this and gaming with the mouse and keyboard
That doesnt matter to me so im happy with the thing
I only wish windows would recognize the usb switching faster but that has nothing to do with this product

However i found that if you use a long usb cable to connect up to a flash drive it gave me a warning that it is only usb 1 compatible and i started having problems with my printer that is installed on the same machine
