This does take up some real estate on your desk as it is larger than i thought but i am happy with it

The first attempt i used a display port to hdmi monitor cable with the switch and that did not work at all

Ive used iogear kvms for a long time with good results

I have never had any issues with iogear in the past 20 years i have been using them at work and at home

Note this kvm advertises that it can support higher than 60hz refresh over hdmi but make sure your monitors hdmi port actually supports it

This iogear kvm switch on the other hand did not fry anything
