Pros

Emmy is a force to be reckoned with. Patterson style. Even amidst all of the excellence in his apparent endless ideas for great plots, hidden plot twists, and characters you can connect to, some are better than others.

Cons

The main character is ridiculously over the top stereotype of an intense ivestgator. Emmy is not stable or admirable. They add little to the story, leaving the reader (or listener) unsettled.
