The black end caps have a rubberised feel but dont quite match the profile of the metal body so some of the sharp metal edges are exposed

Using it roughly once every day over four days a week to charge my galaxy s4 to full capacity sometimes from no power the power castle has lasted more than a month without the need to recharge it and is showing about half capacity available according to the built in display
