Pros
There are some gory bits, but it's not gratuitous. I was gripped by some of the suspenseful or horror scenes. Made for a deeper, more thrilling reading experience for me.

There are far too many pov characters. The premise and subplot that takes this group into the forest just seems lame and wasn't needed.
