Led is quite bright and glows like a beacon at night. We get lightning storms in myrtle beach so this is a safeguard.
White lead connects to the ground bar in the ac disconnect. Wishes it had copper wire in place of 10 ga aluminium wire.

The 10 gauge wiring is stranded aluminum so remember to solder the ends if you can when connecting to the furnace
