I cant find the original manual where i recall my installer telling me he was writing the installers code for my concord 4 system and i guess that is why when i try to add this fob to my system i cant get to sensors on the control panel of the alarm

I have the master code but obviously not the installer code other than i found that 4321 lets me in but it only gives me the same options as my master code

Ive looked at an instruction manual and a quick start guide but i am assuming that without the 4 or 5 digit installer code the panel wont let me scan for new sensors or even bring up the menu item new sensors

If anyone out there has any advice short of pulling the eprom and depriving the system of battery and ac power which i have read works and doesnt work so i am not willing to pull the eprom without more than a 5050 chance of it resetting the installer code to 4321 id value any feedback

Its really to bad that i cant get this thing programmed in to my concord 4 system because this thing is so much better than the one i had that i got when the system was installed 8 years ago which might be some of my problem in that the system has never been updated to newer versions of software as i dont have a landline or for that matter a provider who could update it because the fob is much more durable than the one i lost that had a plastic loop on it to attach to the keychain where this was has a nice metal loop and this one is a nice size and weight and i believe would hold up and is well made but that doesnt help me if i cant use it

I believe that if interlogix is going to sell these they should put more description into this products amazon listing saying make sure you either have the proper codes to program it into your system or that your monitoring company is going to walk you through the process over the phone
