I wish i sprung for the 9900k but no complaints as far as performance goes

The processor runs great im not using the stock cooler so no problem with the temps

3 wmk that was included with the cooling tower

The k in my old cpu pretty much means its one you can overclock but im old school

Works as it should fast and it will take the new windows 11

Competitiveness

Lots of new ryzen chips out there that are amazing and offer great bang for the buck

I love seeing the cores boost up instead of the occasional one on other i7s

However one may be better off getting the newer core i7s or core i9s over this one if building a new rig

But if you are just upgrading an 1151 socket then this gets you pretty close to the best performance from the newer i7s for cheaper
