Now with the release of 5000 series ryzen chips from amd this cpu still holds its value even though it is pricey
I have experience with the ryzen 7 3700x in another system that i have but by far i would rather team blue
29v the performance is very very noticable im running this with a 1070ti as i did with the 6700k

Works amazing and is amazing for the price i bought it

Amazing packaging as you already know with the hexagon shape being is of my favourite packages
I now overclocked the 9900k to 5
Competitiveness
I use a 280mm nzxt x62 aio with peak temps at 75c using prime95 small ffts with avx off
Easy to overclock and doesnt bottleneck even with a gigabyte gaming g1 gtx 1080 2000mhz core speed
It runs hot i have a 120 evga 2fan liquid cooler and it barely keeps up with it
But at least you can actually buy a 9900k

The temp will drop 10c after delid and you will run prime 95 on 5

It works great and all the only thing is it will never reach 5ghz so i feel like thats false advertisement overclocking tools and bios allow you to set it to x50 and overvolt but it will never reach it

Unless you get one thats been tested and stamped to actually reach x51 5
