Overall im happy with the i7 8700k this is a fantastic processor that will hold its own for a few more years

However with the raise of the quad core i38100 i can finally recommend buying an i3 processor

Appart from the price it can handle anything

Only negative would be the packaging which wasn’t what i expected but most definitely not bad

Runs super cool ive paired mine with a noctua low profile cooler and ive never broken 65

Great cpu and beats the 1st and 2nd gen ryzen 5

You will need a z370 coffee lake motherboard to run this baby

Cpu does get a bit hot but after deliding im hitting about 50 60 degrees running a h100i v2
