Pros & Cons
Pros
Clean the surface with acetone or isopropyl alcohol before applying. Adhesion appears to be holding very well. Only gripe is the raw ends could really use some type of finishing cap. Will again apply sealant over it to complete final seal.
The trim is long enough for one tub surround. The adhesive is a butyl compound that will fill in small cracks. I plan on ordering more to use between the flooring and shower pan instead of 1/4 round that catches dust and water.
Cons
This product is junk! Started coming loose the second day. Need to get a complete refund.
Instatrim caulk tape has the * of the base/trim that is commonly installed in commercial bathrooms and cheap rentals- too flexible to look good. Barely adherent. It lifts on edges.
Highlights
Quality
I ordered at a great buy one get one price and was very happy with the results
I have used this in the past and have always been satisfied
The tape has a nice design that blended with the original design where gap was too large it was hard to apply
