Pros & Cons
Pros
Second one. Just removed the old unit and slipped in the new one. Easy to install. For the price, the power cord should be included.
No dislikes. Arrived rather quickly, was well priced versus other distributors and is extremely quiet. This unit is almost silent, and seems to grind better.
Price is great on amazon too! The product was actually delivered to me a week earlier than promised.
Very quiet, disposes of almost everything. Very quiet compared to older sibling.
The multigrind is much quieter than the older unit. Aside from corn husks, nut shells and stringy vegetables, it is up to the challenge. The disposer crunches everything easily.
Cons
Tried to deal with the warranty but gave up - to much hustle, will never buy anything by this brand again.
Highlights
Quality
I am very happy with this purchase
I only wish they included the power cord with the original product as i had to order it separately setting me back a couple of days
But be very aware it does not come with the necessary wiring to connect to power
I replaced it with the exact same model
Price
As someone else commented the price is high for these units but i use it everyday so over 18 years thats fractions of a penny a day
Packaging/appearance
If youre like me and believe that you can put most things down the insinkerator then this is for you
The unit it replaced an old insinkerator was much smaller at the top and i didnt notice
Competitiveness
Have had insinkerator brand and another brand
Replaced another insinkerator 34 hp that i installed 18 years ago

Not sure if it is technically possible but try to install your dish washer connection directly on the sink outlet pipe after the unit

I am suggesting this because if you start the dish washer and this unit has garbage in it the water clogs and causes issues to dish washer

It doesnt come with a sound baffle or splash guard though which makes it a little too easy for things to fall in it
