The only bad thing is that insinkerator insists on having different models for different distributors. A bit pricey compared to others, but worth the extra money.
This disposal is super quiet compared to my previous kenmore disposal. The disposer seems fine so far, very quiet. Part of the reason the disposal is so quiet is to do the drain */sound baffle part.
The air switch is my favorite part because it is right at the sink and not awkward to get to. It's a much better option than running the necessary wiring for a wall switch unless you're working with new construction or a complete remodel.
Cons
Just stopped, would not reset, or move again using the hex wrench. Neither pushing the red button at the bottom of it or using their crank fixed it. Very disappointed in this disposal.

Managed to get moen to accept a return shipping at my expense

My only complaint is the gasket in the sink is very and i have to manually push debris down into the drain
The old insinkerator was 13 hp builder grade and lasted 12 years
Competitiveness
This unit works so much better than the original insinkerator that came from the contractor with our new construction
The previous badger insinkerator disposal lasted for about 25 years so i cant complain
Bought a higher quality model with a 9year warranty hoping that this model will last far longer than the last insinkerator did
Insinkerator designs their disposals to be easily replaced with a new insinkerator disposal

The only issue i have with this item is that the soft rubber that is always covering the drain is too tight and it doesn’t let water drain as it should

Install too no time coming from their base model the builder put in our house

I still sort of worked but it was taking a lot longer and getting noisier

Unplugged the disposal removed a couple clips on each hose disassembled the connecting drain pipes they connectors just unscrew and hand twisted the disposal off its mount
