The noise level isn't bad at all, no louder than the one it replaced. The increased hp is a noticeable improvement. Seems very powerful, yet much quieter than the old one ever was.
Cons
This disposal's blade, after less than a month, is loose and rattling. Going to ask for replacement under warranty.

Our home is very old and the disposal was leaking so we decided to replace it ourselves

Make sure to smash the cover with a screw driver before connecting the drain hose to this or you will end up with a dish washer that doesnt drain

It was the same size and strength as our previous disposal which was also an insinkerator however it was 100 cheaper

We had a power outage in my area and my disposal’s controlled by an air switch that i mistakenly tried using while the power was out

I went to work and the power eventually came back on with the switch engaged and the disposal ran dry until it eventually stopped working
