If you have ever been to a hospital you have probably seen these devices or something similar

They are now cheap enough where everyone can basically afford them although not everyone may know what they are telling you and they do not all appear to be the same

Note the best measurements are achieved with the finger unsupported freehanging in the air with just the unit clamping force on the finger
