Well you can look up the error code on the internet before going into an auto shop so at least you’d know if you were lied to or not

You will buy what you think is the scanner you need only to find it doesnt scan the specific problem you need

You will call their tech support and they will tell you that you needed to buy the scanner with one more letter in the name and that you are out of luck
