I tried angling the solar panels better waiting another day checking for breaks in the cord but nothing fixed it so i decided to return them

Though i had seen no mention of an onoff switch in the user manual which was ripe with poor english there is indeed an on switch for the device

Another note if headlights hit the panel the lights blink out so be careful if you angle the panel toward an alternative light source they will not come on because it registers as day time
