As you know lexmark places a chip on the cartridge and when the ink counter says it is empty the printer shuts down even if you reink yourself

Hence you know you didnt get ripped off or short inked from the start

They come with instructions to knife cut a jumper wire on the chip if they dont work or the printer does not recognize them as fullnew

The only problem i had when i open the magenta it leaked

I think they just put alot of magenta ink into the cartridges thats why it leaked
