Pros & Cons
Pros
Much better for snacking than potato chips. It’s my go to savory snack. They still have calories and carbs, of course.
These plantain chips are always crispy and never oily. They make a nice alternative to wheat crackers.
Expensive but sooo tasty. Very flavorful. The sweet flavored are also good too.
Thinner than some other brands & lightly salted. Love the thin crispness of these.
Not salty. Not greasy. A bit of salt, lots of crunch. Also, not too salty.
Cons
The inka box was already opened before it was placed inside the main box. These are non refundable which means i wasted $36. No flavor, completely bland.
Highlights
Quality
In that time we have not had a single bad bag nor were we disappointed with the quality of the chips
Always on a diet so what better product to purchase than this product
They are very similar to the plantain chips that trader joes sells in the yellow and purple bag with the monkey on it
Price
The unit price is better in fresh which makes no sense than to buy a whole box of a dozen
Packaging/appearance
Good as always different packaging that posted
They changed the packaging and the nutritional info is different
I know the packaging has changed recently but thats ok its still the same chip
Competitiveness
I liked the prime ones more as these are a little thicker but since those werent available these were a good substitute
I’ve tried several brands but this one tastes the best
