You can feel the external influence of the video game tiein driving a lot of this volume i thinkneeding to set up hal grodd and brainiac while also explaining the absence of most of the teen titans booster gold ras al ghul and sinestro in the injustice 2 video game

Ive seen a lot of reviews complain that this is a cliffhanger that doesnt end the story

The main journey in this series i think has been batman confronting his failings and opening up the possibility of forgiving or at least considering redemption for clark which sets the stage for the injustice 2 video game and the battle against brainiac
