My tv didnt have sound out and i wanted to hook up a sound bar so thats where this tuner came in

This unit pulled in stations pretty well for me and i was able to figure out how to record and stop the recordings but it took a while since the included remote was not exactly labeled correctly and differed from the picture shown on the amazon website

Overall functionality seems pretty good but i had to make my own label and affix it to the remote so i can remember the proper functions

Update i contacted the manufacturer and asked them to send me the correct remote which they promptly did

For the cost of the gear it would still be less than 2 months of cable tv
