The handles on each side and the small platform rim on the bottom allows her the ability to drink comfortably without dropping her glass or knocking it over. The cups are light weight and easier for her to hold and drink from.

Cons

This cup leaks through the lid, the lid is too easy to get off for dementia patients. Not worth it.
