Pros

The digital readout and electronic thermostat control are a must have. The temp maintains itself great and the humidity is super simple to control. Lined bottom gives a lot of humidity control.

I have 2 of these genesis 1588 incubators and imo they are the best incubator you can buy before stepping into the $500+ range. Egg turner fits great inside and my clutch of eggs is doing great. Great in a classroom setting.

The shell is styrofoam however its able to maintain temp and humidity due to the insulation properties (thin molded plastic does not) the plastic tray the baby birds step on is less harsh than the older metal one in the old hova. The wasily marked wat... Read More

This incubator takes the guesswork out of setting up the incubator each time. It is automatically set, so there is no need to do any additional adjustments. This is with no power outages, or anything like that.

Cons

All 3 are inaccurate and off by as much a 3 degrees. Mine leaks every time i put water in it. Have yet to get a refund.
