Lip is above the phone so it should protect it from falls

The 2nd last layer also has a great feel to it i like the rubber coated hard plastic feel however its not as durable

I have been careful with not putting strain on the material when disassembling the case but still it broke after 5 months

There is enough of a lip around the phones screen that were the phone to fall and land on the screen i would hope that since the lip of the case would actually hit the ground the phones screen might be protected

But in my opinion a phone that costs what the htc 10 costs deserves a case that is going to protect it
