Pros & Cons
Pros
Metal body gives a nice goof feel to the build quality of this docking station. It feels sturdy and well-built. Inateck makes a slightly cheaper all-plastic version which seems functionally identical.
It works almost perfectly. Works like a champ. It is super simple to use and the clone turns out perfect. It's not much of a problem for me because i use a power squid.
Works fine with 2. Usb 3. I have two 2gig drives inserted. Also uses usb 3 so it transfers really quickly.
My computer is an imac (currently a late 2015 model). Has a on/off pushbutton on the rear panel. I have this attached to a raspberry pi 3 running raspbian.
This drive dock is cool. Comes with a clear plastic cover that slips over the dock when not in use, a nice touch. Excellent dock and zero issues with x ubuntu.
