Id read the stories contained in ernest hemingways book in our time a number of times in the past whether excerpted in anthologies or contained in his own complete short story anthology

Regarding this book what strikes me most is not hemingways plots or themes or style ― all would be improved upon in his later works ― but the rather extraordinary debt owed to joyces dubliners which had been published more than a decade earlier in 1914
