Pros

Have had mine for several years and have no need to change the gasket or machine out. Carefully set filled funnel to the side.

The imusa brand is a known and trusted brand in certain communities. Well constructed of very solid stainless steel material. Makes fantastic stove top espresso. Sturdy thick stainless steel body.

The instructions are clear and very easy to understand. Super easy to set up and use. Many want me to give them one of my coffeepots. I tell them where they can purchase one just like mine but. It's super easy to use and clean.

Cons

The brand is not the highest quality on the market, but not the lowest either.

The pressure valve is open, and steam escapes. Plastic handle and plastic lid knob are soldered onto the metal cheaply. Rusted after first use. Finish on lower chamber is damaged and discolored.

Percolator drip manages to travel grounds to the upper section, so the finished result had a gritty sediment.
