Pros

It works well. Barring any problems, i suspect this tool will meet my needs for the foreseeable future. This is what i was needing!

Perfect to glcreate your own polly bags without the cost. The sliver is convenient and works perfectly! And sealing the cookies in little bags contributes to the cookies arriving fresher.

The factory seal of a clearbags brand metalized bag. The cutter works perfectly and the unit is made of metal and not plastic.

Cons

The impulse sealer i received is not the same item pictured or described on amazon. There is no manufacturer name on the item and the cord is thin and has only a two-prong plug. The heat settings are not consistent.

The cutter cuts into the teflon tape. The cutter does not cut the plastic good, it bunches up. It gets hung up and scrapes along roughly.
