Also the vent spaces seem a bit wider so there is less rushing sound as air is pumped into the room

And second the air vents work fine

Because the edges are rounded not flat the screws wont sit flat unless you do a little tweaking to the hole on the exposed side to make it slightly countersunk then the screws look ok
