Pros

The classic pieces are fun to move and look at. One of my favorites. Nice value for the price. Neat and beautiful.

This is the third set i ordered online to get one that was playable. The details in the craftmanship make it stand out as a work of art. The king and queen pieces are expertly handcrafted.

The board is large and doesn't feel flimsy. The board folds in half with pieces storing inside in form fitted spaces. I plan to make my oun board to go with these men.

Cons

This chess set is soon to be expensive firewood. It has a horrid smell.

The peices look ok, but they feel like a light cheap grade of wood. Also, the squares are exactly 2 by 2, not 2.
