I inferred it was to be applied on the framework by attaching with the included double edge tape

For this installation ive personally used an assortment of different tools to help make it look as nice as possible but not all of them are required for your install apart from the insulation and doublesided tape that came in the package ive used the following tools 1 xacto knife or utility knife 2 seam roller 3 tools to remove garage door hardware sockets impact driver 4 heat gun 5 spray adhesive 34 cans worth depending on brand and quality 6 chemical cartridge mask these items are only required if you decide to follow me step by step ive decided to use spray adhesive to avoid sagging insulation and increase adhesion surface which in theory should help me with better thermal insulation and heat exchange

Since ill assume that youll be spraying adhesive please get a highquality chemical cartridge respirator not particulate mask as your garage doors will be down and youll have no ventilation what so ever

Ive used a heat gun to activate the adhesive in the doublesided tape which might not be required for most depending on the time of installation but given subzero temperatures outside my garage door was getting fairly cold and the adhesive was sometimes peeling off instead of sticking

Next i removed the backing of the doublesided tape and started spraying the adhesive
