It may be because the battery is just a bit thicker than the original apple battery but that features only works on the top 14 of my screen now

After removing the 2 penta screws on the end the splitting the case from the screen is the most difficult

I did not remove the cables to the screen but instead had a helper hold the screen up while i swapped out the battery
