Ordered 20 and not a single dud. It is cheap, widely available and performs a well defined function reliably.
Product works as advertised. Works nice. Works fine and affordable. Exactly as stated.
Cons
Not a normal cat5e connector. Speed negotiation issues, packet loss, crc errors on interfaces.
Basically a wet noodle. Not good for cabinets. Defective or poor design.

When you include the boot covering and cable stress relief area each jack is 1 inch long and the actual cable is about 8 inches leaving you not much more than 6 inches to work with from device to device unless you have zero turns to negotiate

I read some reviews regarding the snagless boots making it difficult to press the release and remove a plugged in cable

So your mileage may vary on the impossible to unplug issue based on the devices you have no way to really know until you try

So theres no way to back off the hood to get to the clip or to actually connect the plug into recessed ports

And since my patch panels ports are recessed i had to pull out my utility knife to shave off the hood

I prefer to not have to take a razor blade to a cable to get it to work
