Pros & Cons

Pros

This was purchased as a replacement to an older attic fan. Has been working perfectly the last 2 months during the heat wave. Finally installed and noticed an instant difference in the attic temperature.

The unit itself is very well built and has a solid sturdy feel. No significant vibration that might lead to * failure.

New quieter attic fan with it'sstandard 15 roundish mount. De-burred and sprayed with a light coat of lacquer to make it even better. Not too noisy.

All hardware is provided required to assemble. Easy install. Thank you for the prompt courteous transaction.

Cons

I recommend any other potential buyer find a different brand and save the time and money installing this unreliable product trash. Very disappointed in this unit and faulty temp control.

Made a loud vibration noise when running. To my avail after reading comments of the same happening to others. Starts to intermittently run even when it’s cold.

That way it would blow air into the attic and i could open the windows and hopefully the air will be sucked in from the outside

By the way if youre in a power down situation and youre running off solar power this fan will draw 5 kw in 24 hours

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Running powerful fans inside the home is a really bad idea in a power down situation because each fan is also a heater

So you want the heat blown into the attic and eventually outside

I would have liked the temperature control to be on the outside of the fan instead of blocking the air flow
