However the color chart describing the pin assignment has a mistake pin 4 and pin 16 are switched

The one i received has 4 and 16 reversed and seeing that these 2 pins are 12 vdc power and ground that could lead to a significant issue if one used the chart and did not verify

Using the color code shown at the amazon product page the wiring was correct for me i only needed 12 battery and chassis ground but the standardized colors for obd2 shown in google searches were not the same
