Its build quality is absolutely superb. It is sturdy and heavy. The quality is on par with excellent.
This distributor and tamper is the game changer. This basically saves coffee, as it smooths it before fully tamping.
It feels good in your hand and has no-slip checkered texture on the middle section. Works exactly as it should, distributing coffee grounds to a smooth perfection.

Both ends are adjustable. Both sides are extendable and lock with the center rings.
Cons
Product works great, but unfortunately the paint began chipping with light use after a month. The tamper is not 51mm across, so the metal part of the tamper cannot reach down to press the coffee grinds firmly.

Feels very sturdy and heavy in a good way and does what it's supposed to do.
Overall this distributor is very solid and does a great job.
Wiping a finger across the portafilter before tamping results in both coffee loss and removes coffee before the lumps are broken up.
This basically saves coffee, as it smooths it before fully tamping.

The only issue i have had with it is that i use a competition basket for my portafilter and although it is no deeper than the standard basket the walls on the competition basket are not slanted around the bottom and therefor the tamp side of the ikape cannot extend far enough to tamp enough
