Marking the plates with a silver sharpie is a good way to easily mark the positions of the balanced camera so you can remove and attach the camera and not have to go through balancing again

Calibration does take a solid surface but i have found that the unit can be powered on and off in the hand in the same session after an initial calibration and it will balance out

The unit comes with 3 liion 18650 batteries which will last just about all day unless you continuously run it in which it should operate for about 56 hours depending on how aggressive your flying is

The other thing is that it stunk for a good month when i first got it though it eventually went away

The ms1 gives extremely smooth footage there is no stepping or jerkiness from the brushless motors which are also silent unless you get it to spaz out

The gimbal is controlled by a commonly used board and can even be modified with 3rd party software with new settings to suit your preferences
